1. The Employment (Amendment) Bill 2021 ("the Bill") was presented on October 25, 2021.
2. Dewan Rakyat approved the Employment (Amendment) Bill 2021 on March 21, 2022.
3. Dewan Negara passed the Employment (Amendment) Bill 2021 on March 30, 2022.
4. The Employment (Amendment) Act 2022 was gazetted into law on May 10, 2022.

5. Some of the most significant amendments suggested to the Employment Act 1955 include Amendment of Section 33A – Information Relating to Supply of Employees
👉 The Bill proposes requiring a labour contractor to engage in a "written contract" and make such contract available for inspection.

6. Under section 33A of the Employment Act 1955 (Amended by the Employment (Amendment) Act 2022), by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection:
“(1 A ) A contractor for labour referred to in subsection (1) who supplies any employee to a principal, contractor or sub-contractor shall enter into a contract in writing and shall make such contract or any other document relating to such contract available for inspection.”
6. 根据《1955年劳工法令》(经《2022年就业（修正）法令》修订）第33A条，在第(1)款之后插入以下条款：

7. With the amendment, under section 33A(3) of the Employment Act 1955:-
(i) by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (a);
(ii) by inserting after paragraph (a) the following paragraph: “(aa) fails to make such contract or any other document relating to such contract available for inspection as required under subsection (1a); or”; and
(iii) by substituting for the word “ten” the word “fifty”.
7. 随着修正案的出台，根据《1955年劳工法令》第33A.第 (3) 条文：
(i) 删除(a)段末尾的 "或 "字。
