Invitation by IRBM for Public Consultation on Draft Public Ruling and Draft Guidelines

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) has published the following draft Public Ruling (PR) and draft Guidelines on its website for public review, comments and feedback before finalising the PR and Guidelines:

• Draft PR on Investment Tax Allowance - Eligible Industries

• Draft Guidelines for Application for Approval of Director General of Inland Revenue Under Subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967 for Welfare Funded Public Hospitals, Private Hospitals and Teaching Hospitals (in Bahasa Malaysia).

The primary objective of this public consultation is to elicit the opinions of various stakeholders regarding the issues that are associated with the draft PR and draft Guidelines.

Please be aware that, as stated by IRBM, any and all thoughts and comments that are submitted will be taken into consideration as well as may be made public.

The following are some of how comments can be submitted in response to this public consultation on the draft PR and draft Guidelines:

• Comments on the draft PR to kufeedback@hasil.gov.my on or before 9 October 2022; and

• Comments on the draft Guidelines to gpka@hasil.gov.my on or before 10 October 2022.
