In accordance with the powers vested in the Minister by subsection 6(1) of the Excise Act 1976 [Act 176], the Excise Duties (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2023 is hereby proclaimed.
This order will come into effect from 1st May 2023.
The Excise Duties Order 2022 [P.U. (A) 163/2022] is amended in the Schedule as follows:
In Chapter 24, concerning heading 24.04, the following subheading and particulars are inserted after subheading 2404.12.10 00 and its relevant particulars:
Chapter 38 and its related particulars are deleted entirely from the Excise Duties Order 2022 .
These amendments aim to modify the Excise Duties Order and ensure compliance with the updated regulations. The changes specified in the amendment will take effect from 1st May 2023.
